  1. BOWFISHING TOURNAMENT SERIES

    Event Starts: January 04, 2024




    We will have a tournament series this year where we will fish 6 selected lakes. Teams will collect points each event they enter based on the position they finish in each lake event. (1st through 15th) plus points for largest carp species and gar species on each lake (excluding alligator gar) The team that ends the tournament trail with the most points will win the Championship and take the total $$ of combined pots for each of the previous events. The first event is scheduled for March 16th. Tournament sign ups will begin February 18th

  2. SYWAT INDOOR TOURNAMENT 2023/24

    Event Starts: December 02, 2023

    Alvarado Archery will be hosting three (3) indoor SYWAT Tournaments in 2023/2024.

    Tournament #1 is November 18th & 19th 2023.
    Tournament #2 is December 2nd & 3rd 2023
    Tournament #3 is February 24th & 25th 2024 

    Flights are 10:00am and 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

    Youth & Young Adult (under 18) is $20;  Adult is $25;  Family Max is $70 per family


    We have 32, 20yd lanes and 8, 10yd lanes so sign up early. Once the lanes are filled they will close for that particular time and day.

    FRIDAY- 11:00am until 7:00pm
    SATURDAY- 09:00am until 5:00pm

    NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

    -All levels welcome. (BYOB) - Bring Your Own Bow - or borrow a bow from the shop here if you're just getting started

    -15 spots available

    -We will be going over the basics and explaining proper form and execution of the shot. Consistency is fundamental for accuracy and we will learn some simple tricks how to be more consistent in our set up!

    -There will be opportunities for one-on-one instruction as well as group

    -Bring your questions! I'm an experienced bow hunter and shoot competitive archery on the national scene

    -Don't be shy, I'm super friendly and would love to help any ladies here get started on their archery journeys, improve their game, or just brush some dust off their bows before season starts ❤️

     

    This is the 4th time I've put on one of these workshops and we always have a blast and shoot bows and fellowship together, spots fill up in the first couple of days usually so jump on it! 😁🏹🦌🎯.

  6. Kids Archery Summer Camp!

    Event Starts: July 12, 2022

    We will host our 2nd Annual Kids Archery Summer Camp July 12th-15th.
    Kids ages 7-11 will be in the mornings from 9:30 to 12:30
    Kids ages 12-16 will be in the afternoons from 1:30 to 4:30

    Cost of camp is $75 per camper

    Friday the 15th is tournament day for all campers from 9:30 to 1:30.
